Prerequisites MSA1510i firmware 2.0 requires the following components on the server: • Windows: Microsoft iSCSI Initiator 2.06+, MPIO software, and Microsoft Device Specific Module (DSM) IMPORTANT: Before installing and using 2.0 active/active firmware, any previous version of the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator and MPIO software and HP DSM must be uninstalled from the server. While this can be done manually, HP recommends using the MSA1510i Support CD version 2.0 to manage this process. IMPORTANT:
Before installing and using 2.0 active/active
fi
rmware, any previous version of the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator
and MPIO software and HP DSM must be uninstalled from the server. While this can be done manually,
HP recommends using the MSA1510i Support CD version 2.0 to manage this process. An ISO image of
