HAFM Server for Windows 2000 Setup Requirements The HAFM Sever for Windows 2000® requires specific setup before installing the HAFM software. These requirements include first restoring the notebook PC to Windows 2000, because the notebook is delivered with Windows XP® installed, which is not compatible with the HAFM software. Other setups include installing the Windows Internet Information Server (IIS), and configuring the Web Server and FTP Server. Refer to the HP StorageWorks HAFM Server for Windows 2000 Installation Guide for complete step-by-step instructions for setting up the HAFM server for Windows 2000. HAFM and Firmware Version Compatibility Table 1 lists the minimum version of HAFM that can run with the various versions of firmware for the directors and edge switches.
