Management Station Requirements for Running Web Tools Disk Space Free disk space of 5 MB or more is required to store the Web Tools program. Free disk space of 256 MB is recommended to run the program efficiently. Web Browsers One of the following Web browsers must be installed: ■ Netscape Communicator 4.5x, 4.7x ■ Internet Explorer 4.x, 5.x, 6x Note: The browser must be configured to work with Web Tools. For configuration information, refer to the HP StorageWorks Web Tools User Guide contained on the HP StorageWorks SAN Switch Software v3.1 CD that shipped with the switch. Java Plug-in and Java Runtime Environment The following lists the correct version of the Java Plug-in and the recommended version of the Java Runtime Environment for your operating system: ■ Windows 2000, XP, or NT - Java Plug-in version v1.3.1_04 or later. - Java Runtime Environment v1.3.1_04 (recommended for best results). ■ Solaris - Java Plug-in version v1.3.1_04 for Solaris, including the Java Plug-in patch created by Sun for Solaris. - Java Runtime Environment v1.3.1_04 (recommended for best results). The Java Plug-in is contained on the HP StorageWorks SAN Switch Software v3.1 CD included with the switch. The plug-in is located in the FIRMWARE subdirectory.
