Control Panel LPD Control The LPD Control dialog box allows you to set the terminal up as a line printer (print server). ✎ HP Compaq t5300 thin client models do not have legacy ports. Therefore, the LPD Control program will not appear in the Control Panel for those systems. To set the terminal up as a print server: 1. Select Enable Printer. 2. Type the Printer Name and Network Port. 3. Select the appropriate printer port from the list. If you select a COM port, you have the option of configuring the serial port by clicking Configure and typing the appropriate parameters. 4. Select Send Form Feed if form feeds are necessary. Form feeds are primarily used with older printer technology. ✎ Verify the terminal serial port is enabled in BIOS and in the Control Panel Port Lock window. LPD Control
