Select the option “Click here to create a diskette containing the NetWare utilities (hp disk HP NetRAID-1M NetWare
utilities)”.
3.
Boot the NetWare server to DOS.
4.
Insert the NetRAID 1M NetWare utilities diskette into the server’s floppy drive.
5. Type:
Copy <d1>:\*.* <d2>:\nwserver
where <d1> is the drive letter of the floppy drive you are using and <d2> is the hard disk where NetWare is installed.
Press <Enter>.
6.
Restart the server.
7.
To load the HP NetRAID Config utility, type:
load <d2>:\nwserver\megamgr.nlm
at the NetWare console prompt and press <Enter>.
8.
To load the HP NetRAID Monitor Service, type:
load <d2>:\nwserver\megamon.nlm
at the NetWare console prompt and press <Enter>.
HP NetRAID-1M Adapter Firmware and BIOS Update Procedure
Follow the instructions outlined in this section to update the HP NetRAID-1M firmware and BIOS.
1.
Under Windows or Linux environment, launch
\startup.htm
in the Startup CD.
2.
Select the option “Click here to create a bootable DOS diskette containing the HP NetRAID-1M firmware image and
DOS flash utility (hp disk HP NetRAID-1M firmware)”.
3.
Insert the HP NetRAID-1M firmware diskette into the server’s floppy drive.
4.
Reboot the server.
5.
Follow the instructions on the screen to confirm the update.
6.
Reboot the server.
