Using Adaptec RAID Configuration The Ctrl-B option in ACU moves any array to be array 00. Using this option repeatedly allows any boot order to be chosen. The default is Disabled. ■ Physical Drives Display during POST- The default is Disabled. ■ CD-ROM Boot Support - The default is Enabled. ■ Removable Media Devices Support - The default is Enabled. ■ Alarm Control - The default is Enabled. You cannot set the following options: ■ NVRAM State - Displays the current status of the NVRAM cache. This option is available only for controllers that have a battery and is for display only. In normal operation it will display Clean. ■ Controller Memory Size - Displays the amount of memory installed on the controller. Using the SCSI Configuration Utility The SCSI Configuration Utility enables you to modify the SCSI Channel Interface Definitions and SCSI Device Configuration Options. To access the SCSI Configuration Utility: 1 When you turn on or reboot your system, press Ctrl+A to access the Adaptec RAID Configuration (ARC) utilities when prompted by the following message: Press for Adaptec RAID Configuration Utility 2 If multiple controllers are installed, select the controller you want to configure and press Enter. 3 From the ARC menu, select SCSISelect Utility. The Controller Configuration and SCSI Configuration menu options are displayed. 4 Select SCSI Configuration. 2-13

Using the SCSI Configuration Utility

To access the SCSI Configuration Utility:
