Step 3. Connect any additional SCSI devices to one another with shielded external SCSI cables. You need a separate SCSI cable for each additional device. Figure 2.10 shows how to connect multiple external SCSI devices. Figure 2.10 Connecting Multiple External SCSI Devices Enable termination on the device at the end of the bus. Disable termination on all devices not at the end of the bus. Host Adapter Automatically Terminated 2-10 Step 4.
