4. Connection When connecting a signal source to the projector, be sure to: 1. Turn all equipment off before making any connections. 2. Use the correct signal cables for each source. 3. Ensure the cables are firmly inserted. In the connections shown below, only certain cables are included with the projector (see page 8). Other cables are available from HP or from electronics stores. Some of these sources are: • Digital-VHS (D-VHS) player • DVD player • Satellite Dish HDTV receiver • Digital TV tuners Most of these sources will provide an analog component video output, a standard VGA output, or a YPbPr (default) format. The projector is capable of accepting HDTV data through a Component Video connector. Use a Component Video cable (an optional accessory) to display these images.
