English ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING THE WOOL BONNET AND SANDING DISC WARNING: Be sure to switch power OFF and disconnect the plug from the receptacle to avoid serious trouble. q For use as a Polisher (1) Press the lock pin to secure the spindle and tighten the backing pad by rotating the outer circumference. (2) Adhere the wool bonnet (Hook & Loop type) attached by pressing it firmly against the backing pad. Align the respective centers when attaching. If not centered, vibration will result. (3) To remove the wool bonnet, follow the above-mentioned procedure in reverse order. Backing Pad < > Using the rubber pad (optional accessory) (Fig. 5) (1) Insert the washer nut (optional accessory) through the rubber pad (optional accessory) and thread it onto the spindle. (2) Press the lock pin to secure the spindle and tighten the washer nut with a wrench. (3) Wrap the rubber pad with the hood of the wool bonnet (optional accessory) and firmly secure it by tying a string around it. Washer Nut Rubber Pad Be sure the excess string is firmly tucked inside the wool bonnet to prevent it from flying out while polishing. The unbalanced fitting of the wool bonnet may cause vibration (Fig. 6). (4) To remove the wool bonnet, follow the above-mentioned procedure in reverse order. Using the backing pad (Fig. 4)

(1)
Press the lock pin to secure the spindle and
tighten the backing pad by rotating the
outer circumference.
(2)
Adhere the wool bonnet (Hook & Loop type)
attached by pressing it firmly against the
backing pad. Align the respective centers
when attaching. If not centered, vibration
will result.
(3)
To remove the wool bonnet, follow the
above-mentioned procedure in reverse
order.

Be sure the excess string is firmly tucked
inside the wool bonnet to prevent it from
flying out while polishing.
The unbalanced fitting of the wool bonnet
may cause vibration (Fig. 6).
