Troubleshooting Tips Problem Food does not broil properly Control signals after entering cooking time or delay start Display flashes "bAd" then "linE" with a loud tone Warming drawer will not work Excessive condensation in the warming drawer Food dries out in the warming drawer Possible Causes Oven is not set to BROIL. Door not open to the broil stop position as recommended. What To Do •On models with a temperature knob, make sure you turn it all the way to the BROIL position. On models with a BROIL HI/LO pad, make sure it is turned on. •See the Using the oven section. Improper shelf position being used. • See the Broiling guide. Food being cooked in a hot pan. • Use the broiling pan and grid that came with your range. Make sure it is cool. Cookware not suited for broiling. • Use the broiling pan and grid that came with your range. Aluminum foil used on the broiling pan and grid has not been fitted properly and slit as recommended. • See the Using the oven section. In some areas the power (voltage) may be low. • Preheat the broil element for 10 minutes. • Broil for the longest period of time recommended in the Broiling guide. You forgot to enter a bake temperature or cleaning time. •Press the BAKE pad and desired temperature or the SELF CLEAN pad and desired clean time. The installed connection from the house to the unit is miswired. A fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped. The oven is self-cleaning. Controls improperly set. Liquid in warming drawer. Uncovered foods. Temperature setting too high. Moisture escaping. •Contact installer or electrician to correct miswire. • Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. • Wait for the self-clean cycle to finish and the oven to cool. • See the Using the warming drawer section. • Remove liquid. • Cover food with lid or aluminum foil. • Reduce temperature setting. • Cover food with lid or aluminum foil.
