To sharpen the saw blade WARNING: Stop the product and remove the battery. Use protective gloves. • To sharpen the blade correctly, refer to the instructions that come with the blade. • Make sure that the product and blade has sufficient support when you sharpen it. • Adjust the blade set to 1 mm (0.04 in) with the recommended setting tool. Refer to the instructions that come with the blade. • Use a 5.5 mm (7/32 in) round file with a file holder. WARNING: Always discard a blade that is damaged. Do not try to make a bent or twisted blade straight and use it again. To do a check of the trimmer line Only use the recommended trimmer line. See the illustration on the last pages of the manual. 1. Put the cord into the hole on the cover of the product to make sure it follows the recommendation. • Hold the file at an angle of 15°. • Sharpen one tooth of the saw blade to the right and the next tooth to the left, see the illustration. 15˚ Bevel gear The bevel gear is filled to ¾ with grease at the factory. Before use, make sure that the grease level has not changed. Use Husqvarna special grease if it is necessary to fill up. Do not change the grease in the bevel gear. Let servicing personnel do the repair of the bevel gear. Note: Sharpen the edges of the teeth with a flat file if the blade is heavily worn. Continue to sharpen with a round file. • Sharpen all edges equally to keep the blade balanced. 26 609 - 006 - 17.08.2020

To sharpen the saw blade
WARNING:

To sharpen the blade correctly, refer to the
instructions that come with the blade.
Make sure that the product and blade has sufficient
support when you sharpen it.
Use a 5.5 mm (7/32 in) round file with a file holder.
Hold the file at an angle of 15°.
Sharpen one tooth of the saw blade to the right and
the next tooth to the left, see the illustration.

Note:
Sharpen the edges of the teeth with a flat file if
