Audit Trail Report Command Set Section 8: Audit Trail Reports &%SAR$ &%SAR $ Start Audit Record Lead in sequence Command terminator Marks the start of an audit record and begins a PJL job.. This command must be inserted in the datastream after MICR Mode is entered and before the first flagged field appears. It should be sent at the beginning of each check record. It is a maximum of 14 characters in length. If less than 14 characters are sent, the printer fills the field with spaces when the audit report is printed.
