Lift the riser card assembly out of the 4810. 3. Disconnect all cables that are attached to the planar. 4. Remove the hard-disk drive (see "Removing the hard-disk drive" on page 2-5). 5. Remove the memory (see "Removing memory" on page 2-7). 6. Remove the heat sink and fan assembly (see "Removing the heat sink and fan assembly" on page 2-8). 7. Remove the CPU (see "Removing the CPU" on page 2-9). 8. Remove the screws beside the printer port and serial port B on the back cover of the 4810. 9. Remove the six hex screws on the planar. 10. Slide the planar toward the front of the 4810, then lift the planar out of the 4810. 11. To replace the planar, reverse this procedure. 2-14 SurePOS Installation and Service

Open
the
unit

2.
Lift
the
riser
card
assembly
out
of
the
4810.
3.
Disconnect
all
cables
that
are
attached
to
the
planar.
4.
Remove
the
hard-disk
drive
(see
“Removing
the
hard-disk
drive”
on
page
2-5).
5.
Remove
the
memory
(see
“Removing
memory”
on
page
2-7).
6.
Remove
the
heat
sink
and
fan
assembly
(see
“Removing
the
heat
sink
and
fan
assembly”
on
page
2-8).
7.
Remove
the
CPU
(see
“Removing
the
CPU”
on
page
2-9).
8.
Remove
the
screws
beside
the
printer
port
and

10.
Slide
the
planar
toward
the

of
the
4810,
then
lift
the
planar
out
of
the
4810.
11.
To
replace
the
planar,
