To start the IBM Enhanced Diagnostics using the diagnostic diskette, do the following: 1. Turn off your computer and any attached devices. 2. Insert the IBM Enhanced Diagnostics diskette into diskette drive A. 3. Turn on all attached devices; then turn on your computer. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen. Other diagnostic programs Your computer also contains diagnostic programs designed specifically for the Windows NT Workstation operating environment. Because these diagnostics work with the operating system, they not only test the hardware, but they also analyze certain software components of your computer. They are especially useful in isolating problems related to the operating system and device drivers. PC-Doctor for Windows To use the PC-Doctor for Windows program: 1. If you have not already done so, install the program onto your hard disk. For information about installing software from the Software Selections CD, see "Installing additional software" on page 22. 2. To run the program after it is installed, select it from the Programs choice on the Windows Start menu and follow the instructions on the screen. Help is available online. CoSession Remote 32 Artisoft CoSession Remote 32 availability varies by computer model and country. CoSession Remote 32 is a remote-control diagnostic program that can be used by another individual, such as your network administrator, to help diagnose problems with your computer from a remote location. CoSession Remote 32 is provided on the Software Selections CD that comes with your computer. To use CoSession Remote 32, it must be installed on your computer, and your computer must have a modem or a LAN connection.
