BASIC OPERATION
2
SQL (Squelch) Level
Set the
SQL level to between 0 to 9.
The squelch function suppresses the
noise output from a speaker when no
signal is received.
0: SQL Open
2: SQL Threshold
9: SQL Tight
AF Min Level
(Minimum audio output level)
Set the audio output level when you ro-
tate [VOL] to minimum point.
0 (minimum) – 255 (maximum)
Mic Gain
Higher values make the microphone
more sensitive to the user's voice.
1 (minimum) – 4 (maximum)
Battery Voltage Display
ON:
Battery voltage is displayed when
turning ON the transceiver.
OFF
:
Battery voltage is not displayed
when turning ON the transceiver.
Signal Moni
While using a 2-Tone, 5-Tone, or DTMF
code signaling, select whether or not to
sound signaling beeps.
ON:
Signaling beeps sound.
OFF:
No signaling beeps sound.
Lone Worker
ON:
If no operation occurs for a set
time period, the transceiver au-
tomatically enters the “Emer-
gency” mode.
OFF:
Even if no operation occurs for a set time period, the trans-
ceiver does not automatically enter the “Emergency”
mode.
Stationary
The acceleration sensor detects the sit-
uation where the user cannot move.
Higher values make the sensor more
sensitive to the user's motion.
1 (minimum) – 3 (maximum)
If you select “1,” this function is easier to activate.
Motion Detection
The acceleration sensor detects if the
user keeps moving or not.
Higher values make the sensor more
sensitive to the user's motion.
1 (minimum) – 3 (maximum)
If you select “3,” this function is easier to activate.
