9 OTHER FUNCTIONS ■■ Using the Horn function DDAutomatic Foghorn function The Automatic Foghorn function sounds a horn repeatedly until the function is turned OFF. The foghorn outputs from the hailer speaker. To use this function, the hailer speaker must be connected to the CT-M500, and CT-M500 must be connected to the IC-M510. See page 88 for details of WLAN Settings and the CT-M500 Instruction Manual. TYPE One 5-second Underway blasts every 120 seconds. Stop Two 5-second blasts (separated by 2 seconds) every 120 seconds. One 5-second blast followed by two 1-second Sail blasts (each separated by 2 seconds) every 120 seconds. Vessel under tow (manned). 1. Open the "Auto Foghorn" screen. [MENU] > Horn > Auto Foghorn 2. Automatic Foghorn function
The Automatic Foghorn function sounds a horn repeatedly until the function is turned
OFF.
The foghorn outputs from the hailer speaker. To use this function, the hailer speaker must
be connected to the CT-M500, and CT-M500 must be connected to the IC-M510. See
