Adjusts how the image is sized to fit the screen. If the pictures you are viewing are in 4:3 format, they will have black bars on the sides of the screen with the Normal setting enabled. Selecting one of the other modes will hide the black bars by zooming in on the image and stretching or cropping it. Maintains the picture's original resolution when a picture file is copied from a memory card or USB device to the frame's internal memory. Optimizes (compresses) a picture file when it is copied from a memory card or USB device to the frame's internal memory.
