Listening to other portable audio devices To listen to another portable audio device: 1 Make sure that your clock radio with iPod dock is turned off. 2 Connect the line-in cable (not included) on the audio device to the AUX jack on your clock radio with iPod dock. 3 Press the SOURCE button to select AUX. 4 Use the controls on the audio device to control playback. 5 If necessary, press the +/- to adjust the volume. Charging the 3G iPod battery The iPod is charged when it is inserted into the clock radio with iPod dock and the clock radio with iPod dock is turned on. To charge the iPod battery: 1 Make sure that the AC power adapter on your clock radio with iPod dock is connected. 2 Turn on your clock radio with iPod dock. 3 Turn on your iPod. 4 Insert the iPod into the slot, with the display facing out. 5 Press the SOURCE button to select iPod. 6 Press the ST/ button five times quickly to switch to FC (Firewire Charge) charging mode. www.insignia-products.com 23

1 Plug the power cord into the DC jack on the back of your clock radio with iPod dock.	13
2 Plug the other end of the AC power adapter into a 120V AC 60 Hz power outlet.	13

3 Match the dock cradle tabs to the left and right holes and slide the dock cradle into the iPod slot.	15

5 Insert the rubber pads into the notches on the iPod dock cradle. Insert the narrow ends of rubber pads first. Make sure that the rubber pads are inserted into the notches securely.	17

1 Press the SOURCE button to choose iPod or FM tuner mode. AUX cannot be selected as a source.	19
2 Press the SET button repeatedly until ALARM1 or ALARM2 is displayed.	19

4 Press the and buttons to switch between ON and OFF.	20

6 Repeatedly press the SET button and the and buttons to set the hour, minute, alarm type, auto mode timing, and alarm volume. Auto Mode Timing is the duration of the alarm, from 10-30 minutes.	20
7 Confirm that you can hear the iPod or FM tuner.	20
8 Press the and buttons to set the volume.	20
9 Slide the alarm switch to TIMER PLAY. The bell icon is displayed. If the power is off and the lithium coin battery is installed, the alarm will sound with the buzzer instead of the iPod or FM Tuner.	20
Stopping the alarm sound	20
1 Press and hold the SET button.	20
2 Press the and buttons to switch from ON to OFF. The set alarm will be cancelled.	20
Setting the sleep timer	21
1 Make sure that your clock radio with iPod dock is on.	21
2 Press and hold the SNOOZE/SLEEP/ button during playback of a source. The SLEEP indicator is displayed and the letter “S” and sleep time length begin to blink.	21
3 Press the and buttons to set the length of time (10-60 minutes) you want the source to play before it stops playing.	21
4 Press the SET button to confirm. The SLEEP indicator lights up and the current time is displayed.	21
