Table 18 shows the format of the IDE submenus. For brevity, only one example is shown. Table 18. Specifies the IDE configuration mode for IDE devices. User allows capabilities to be changed. Auto fills-in capabilities from ATA/ATAPI device. Maximum Capacity LBA Mode Control Multi-Sector Transfers Displays the capacity of the drive. Enables or disables LBA mode control. Specifies number of sectors per block for transfers from the hard disk drive to memory. Check the hard disk drive's specifications for optimum setting. Specifies the PIO mode.
