Security Menu To access this menu, select Security from the menu bar at the top of the screen. The keyboard remains locked until a password is entered. A password is required to boot from a diskette. Notes: 1. This feature appears only if a user password has been set. 2. This feature appears only if both a user password and a supervisor password have been set. 3. If both Legacy USB Support (in the Peripheral Configuration submenu) and Unattended Start (in the Security menu) are enabled, USB aware operating systems can unlock a PS/2 style keyboard and mouse without requiring the user to enter a password. 4. When Unattended Start is enabled, a USB aware operating system may override user password protection if used in conjunction with a USB keyboard and mouse without requiring the user to enter a password.
