Front of Intel® Server System SR2625UR Peripheral Devices The Intel® Server System SR2625UR provides locations and hardware for installing 2.5inch hard drives, a tape drive, CD-ROM drive, or DVD-ROM drive. Optional Peripherals Hard Disk Drive Carriers The server system ships with eight drive carriers for installing eight SAS or Serial ATA (SATA) hot-swap 2.5-inch drives. Note: SAS drives are only supported on the Intel® Server System SR2625URLX (active version). For instructions on installing hard drives, see "Installing a Hot-swap SAS/SATA Hard Disk Drive" on page 75. Note: Drives can consume up to 17 watts of power each. Drives must be specified to run at a maximum ambient temperature of 45°C. Note: The Intel® Server System SR2625UR does not support all SAS or Serial ATA (SATA) hard drives.
