6) Install the SRCZCRX controller in an available MROMB-enabled PCI slot. Note: See your server board documentation to detemine which PCI slot(s) are MROMB enabled. 7) Perform a safety check: - Ensure that the Intel RAID Controller SRCZCRX is properly installed. - Close the cabinet of the host system. 8) Turn power on after completing the safety check. 2.3 Detailed Installation This section provides detailed instructions for installing a Intel RAID Controller SRCZCRX. Note: All work must be performed at an ESD-safe workstation that meets the requirements of EIA-625: Requirements for Handling Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices. All actions must be done following the latest revision of the IPC-A-610 for ESD recommended practices. 1) Unpack Unpack and remove the SRCZCRX controller. Inspect it for damage. Remove the Battery Backup Unit from its packaging. b. Connect the wire from the battery to the circuit board (A). c. Position the BBU over the RAID adapter so the connectors line up (B).
