Intel RAID Controller SRCZCRX Technical
Reference
This chapter describes the characteristics of the Intel RAID Controller SRCZCRX. This
chapter contains the following sections:
Section 3.1, “Overview,” page 23
Section 3.2, “Intel RAID Controller SRCZCRX Characteristics,” page 24
Section 3.3, “Technical Specifications,” page 25
3.1
Overview
PCI-X is a high-speed standard local bus for interfacing I/O components to the processor and
memory subsystems in a server. The component height on the top and bottom of the
SRCZCRX controller follow the
PCI Local Bus Specification, Revision 2.2,
and
PCI-X
Addendum to the PCI Local Bus Specification, Revision 1.0a
. The Intel RAID Controller
SRCZCRX is used in PCI-X and PCI computer systems with PCI standard and low-profile
bracket types.
The Intel RAID Controller SRCZCRX installs into an MROMB-enabled PCI-X slot on the
server board. The server board must include an onboard SCSI controller that supports this
RAID solution.
