: BASIC SETTINGS menus Settings: [ ] = Factory-preset  LANGUAGE [ENGLISH] Sets the display language. (Thp.h17) You have a choice of 23 languages.  CLOCK ADJUST Sets the time. (Thp.h17) DATE / TIME  DATE DISPLAY STYLE Sets the date and time display format. a MONITOR BRIGHT Sets the brightness of the LCD monitor. DATE STYLE: [month.day.year] / year.month.day / day.month.year TIME: 24h / [12h] Adjust the brightness of the display by moving the set lever to g / k, then press down. $ MONITOR BACKLIGHT Enables you to adjust the brightness of backlight on the monitor. BRIGHTER: Brightens the backlight on the monitor regardless of the surrounding conditions. STANDARD: Select this when saving the battery life. [AUTO] : The brightness will automatically be set to [BRIGHTER] when using outdoors and to [STANDARD] when using indoors. (when using the battery pack) ? DROP DETECTION Prevents damage to the HDD by turning off the power automatically when it is detected that the camera dropped. OFF: Deactivates the function. [ON]: Activates the function. To turn on the camera when the drop detection worked, close the LCD monitor and open it again. CAUTION • The built-in hard disk of the camera may not be protected even if the setting is [ON]. • When recording/playback stops even if the camera is not dropped, set the setting to [OFF] or set [REC MEDIA FOR VIDEO] in the [BASIC SETTINGS] to [SD]. (T p. 53) < DEMO MODE Introduces special features of the camera when there is no operation for about 3 minutes during recording mode. OFF: Deactivates the function. [ON]: Activates the function. NOTES • The demonstration only works when the AC adapter is connected, not with the battery. • If a microSD card is in the camera, demonstration will not take place even if this mode is set to [ON].
