RECORDING/PLAYBACK Recording Files Video Recording Q Press PLAY/REC to select the recording mode. R Set the recording dial to ! mode. The lens cover opens automatically. S Press START/STOP to start recording.  To stop recording Press START/STOP again.  To view the last recorded scene Select A while recording is paused. Selecting ; during playback deletes that scene.  To record a still image during video recording Press SNAPSHOT.  Continuous shooting may be performed by switching the shutter mode. (Z p. 25) Approximate remaining time for recording You can also start/stop recording by selecting [REC] on the LCD monitor. (On-screen recording control)  To change the video quality Change the settings in [VIDEO QUALITY]. (Z p. 69)  To perform high speed recording Select from H1 to H3 on the recording dial. (Z p. 36) NOTE • The video recording mode is automatically selected when you turn off the camera and then turn on again. • If [AUTO POWER OFF] in the menu is set to [ON], the camera turns itself off automatically to conserve power when it is not operated for 5 minutes while running on battery. • After recording video for 12 consecutive hours, recording stops automatically. • A new file will be created for every 4 GB of continuous shooting. 22 EN
