In addition to using the HDMI cable, you can enjoy digital sound as well using a digital audio cable (coaxial or optical). When shipped
from the factory, the digital optical terminal (DIGITAL IN 2 (DBS)) on the rear of the receiver is set for a DBS tuner. For details of digital

When connecting a DBS tuner with a HDMI cable or component video cable, set “HDMI SELECT” or “CMPNT SELECT” to “DBS.” (see
