Turn automatic ice maker off, even if you will only be gone for a few days. Remove all food and ice if you will be gone one month or more. Turn controls to "0" and disconnect power (unplug refrigerator from electrical outlet). Turn off automatic ice maker and turn water supply valve to closed position. Clean interior thoroughly. Leave both doors open to prevent odors and mold build-up. Block doors open if necessary. Remove all food and ice. If using handcart, load from side. Adjust front rollers all the way up to protect them during sliding or moving. Pad cabinet to avoid scratching surface. 19
