Satellite Radio Tuner Control (Optional Accessory) [SRC] [VOL] [ ] [ ][BAND] [] / [E] [1] - [6] Basic Operation Selecting Satellite Radio source Press the [SRC] button. Select the "SAT"/ "SIRIUS"/ "XM" display. ⁄ • You need to register to the service provider to receive the service by Satellite Radio. Consult the service provider if "CALL ... TO SUBSCRIBE" appears. • The radio may take a little time to start receiving after you select the Satellite Radio source. • If the signal reception fails, "ACQUIRING SIGNAL"/ "NO SIGNAL" appears. Selecting the Preset Band Press the [BAND] button. Each time you press the button, the receiving band alternates between the SR1, SR2, SR3 and SR4. Selecting the channel Press the [4] or [¢] button. Selecting the preset channel Press the [1] - [6] button. Preset Memory Putting the channel in the memory. 1 Select the frequency to put in the memory Press the [4] or [¢] button. 2 Select the number to put in the memory Press the [1] - [6] button for at least 2 seconds. ⁄ • Only the channel number is stored. Category information is not stored. Satellite Radio Setting You can select following Satellite Radio Setting items. 1 Select the Satellite Radio source Press the [SRC] button. Select the "SAT"/ "SIRIUS"/ "XM" display. 2 Enter Function Setting mode KDC-BT645U: Press the [VOL] knob for at least 1 second. KDC-HD545U: Press the [VOL] knob. "FUNCTION" is displayed. 3 Select the function item Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the desired item is displayed. Select "SETTINGS" > Function item. Function item Selectable setting/item "SEEK MODE" Selects the tuning mode of the radio. CHANNEL: Normal manual seeking control. PRESET: Search in order of the channels in the Preset memory "ESN WATCH" Displays the Electronic Serial Number of satellite radio. ESN= (Factory setting: Underlined) 4 Make a setting Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the desired item is displayed. 5 Exit Function Setting mode Press the [ ] button for at least 1 second. Category and Channel Search Selecting the channel and category you want to receive. 1 Enter Category and Channel Search mode Press the [ ] button. 2 Select the Category Press the [VOL] knob. 3 Select the Channel Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the desired item is displayed. Basic Operation
Selecting Satellite Radio source
Press the [SRC] button.
Select the “SAT”/ “SIRIUS”/ “XM” display.

• You need to register to the service provider to receive
the service by Satellite Radio. Consult the service
provider if “CALL … TO SUBSCRIBE” appears.
• The radio may take a little time to start receiving after
you select the Satellite Radio source.
