Operation of hands-free phoning Calling a number in the call log 1 Enter dialing method mode Press the [ATT] button for at least 1 second. 2 Select the call log mode Press the Control knob. Select the "OUT-CALL" (outgoing call), "IN-CALL" (incoming call), or "MIS-CALL" (missed call) display. 3 Select a name or phone number Turn the Control knob or push it towards up or down. 4 Make a call Press the Control knob for at least 1 second. ⁄ • The outgoing call list and the incoming call list, and the missed call list are the lists of calls originated from and received at this unit. They are not the ones stored in the cell-phone memory. Registering to the Preset Dial Number List 1 Enter the phone number you wish to register Enter the phone number with reference to the following: Dial a number/ Calling a number in the call log/ Calling a number in the Phone Book 2 Enter Preset Memory mode Press the [FNC] button. 3 Select the number to put in the memory Turn the Control knob or push it towards left or right. 4 Determine the number to put in the memory Press the Control knob for at least 1 second. Exit the Preset Memory mode Press the [FNC] button. Make a voice dialing call 1 Enter voice recognize mode Select "BT" > "V-REC". For how to select Function Control item, refer to (page 6). "Ready" is displayed. 2 Press the Control knob. "PB Name?" is displayed. When a beep is heard, utter the name within 2 seconds. 3 "PN Type?" is displayed. When a beep is heard, utter the category within 2 seconds. 4 Make a call Press the Control knob for at least 1 second. • This step is the same as step 3 of the procedure in . You can make a call or select a category. ⁄ • If your voice cannot be recognized, a message is displayed. Pressing the Control knob allows you to retry voice input. Make a voice dialing call

Enter voice recognize mode
Select “BT” > “V-REC”.
For how to select Function Control item, refer to
<Function Control> (page 6).
“Ready” is displayed.

Press the Control knob.
“PB Name?” is displayed.
When a beep is heard, utter the name within 2
seconds.

“PN Type?” is displayed.
When a beep is heard, utter the category within 2
seconds.

Make a call
Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.
• This step is the same as step 3 of the procedure in
<Calling a number in the Phone Book>. You can make a
call or select a category.

• If your voice cannot be recognized, a message is
displayed. Pressing the Control knob allows you to retry
voice input. (page 40)
• Both the name and category requires registration of a
voice tag. (page 26)
• Audio sound is not output during voice recognize.
Registering to the Preset Dial Number

Enter the phone number you wish to register
Enter the phone number with reference to the
following:
Dial a number/ Calling a number in the call log/
Calling a number in the Phone Book

Enter Preset Memory mode
Press the [FNC] button.

Select the number to put in the memory
Turn the Control knob or push it towards left
or right.

Determine the number to put in the memory
Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.
Exit the Preset Memory mode
Press the [FNC] button.
