Putting the Program Type in the Preset button

Select the Program Type to preset
Refer to <PTY (Program Type)> (page 17).

Enter Program Type Preset mode
Press the [
] button.

Select the number to put in the memory
Turn the Control knob.

Determine the number to put in the memory
Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.
Recalling the preset Program Type

Enter PTY mode
Refer to <PTY (Program Type)> (page 17).

Enter Program Type Preset mode
Press the [
] button.

Select a desired Program Type in the memory
Turn the Control knob.

Recall the Program Type
Press the Control knob.

Receive the station you want to register

Select the Program Type to register
Refer to <PTY (Program Type)> (page 17).

Register the Program Type
Press the [FNC] button for at least 2 seconds.
Confirming the Program Type
Press the [FNC] button.
The Program Type is displayed for 3 seconds.

Exit PTY mode
Press the Control knob.

Push the Control knob towards right or left.

Press the Control knob.

is displayed. Select another Program Type.
