bizhub C652/C552 Print Job Shops Tri-fold Creation - PCL Print Driver PRE-REQUISITES: The folder function is available only when the optional finisher FS-526 and optional SD-508 Saddle Stitcher is installed on the C652/C552. NOTE: The fold function cannot be specified when the staple, punch, or saddle stitch function is specified. APPLICATION: Sometimes an end user will have a document prepared for folding such as an advertising flyer or a rebate special, etc. They may want to print this document, either single sided or duplexed and apply a tri-fold to finish the document. They want to place the image(s) of their digital file on Letter Size Paper (8.5" x 11"). PROCEDURE: Open a 1-page original document (you can retrieve a tri-fold mailer from a recent launch kit, or any document one page in length; each page 8.5" x 11" in size). TO SET UP A TRI-FOLD CREATION IN PRINT MODE NOTE: You can specify the procedure for adjusting the binding position for duplex printing. If "Prioritize Arranging Papers" is selected, all pages can be processed to a suitable quality by this machine because the binding position is adjusted after all the print data is received. If "Prioritize Productivity" is selected, the printing process is performed efficiently because the binding position is adjusted while the data is printed simultaneously as it is being received. If you want to increase the print efficiency, select "Prioritize Productivity". If the desired binding position and width cannot be achieved, select "Prioritize Arranging Papers". 18

TO SET UP A TRI-FOLD CREATION IN PRINT MODE
If “Prioritize Arranging Papers” is selected, all pages can be processed to a suitable
quality by this machine because the binding position is adjusted after all the print
data is received. If “Prioritize Productivity” is selected, the printing process is performed
efficiently because the binding position is adjusted while the data is printed
simultaneously as it is being received.
If you want to increase the print efficiency, select “Prioritize Productivity”. If the desired
binding position and width cannot be achieved, select “Prioritize Arranging Papers”.
