Caution Labels The printer bears any of the following labels. Laser inside the printer (Laser radiation warning) For Europe, Asia, and other countries For U.S.A. and Canada CDRH Regulations The Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration implemented regulations for laser products on August 2, 1976. These regulations apply to laser products manufactured after August 1, 1976. Compliance is mandatory for products marketed in the United States. A label indicating compliance with the CDRH regulations must be attached to laser products marketed in the United States. Ozone Concentration These printers generate ozone gas (O3), which may concentrate in the place of installation and cause an unpleasant smell. To minimize the concentration of ozone gas to less than 0.1ppm, we recommend you not to install the printer in a confined area where ventilation is blocked. xi
