To use the recorded list with USB storage device TIME MACHINE 1 Connect the USB device to the USB IN jacks on the side of TV. I Only USB HDD that are over 40 GB and 1 partition can be used for USB Backup. USB IN S-VIDEO USB HDD (over 40 GB) VIDEO L/MONO AUDIO R 2 To use the USB storage device (over 40 GB) for USB Backup, execute the "USB HDD Format" I It initialises the HDD connected to the USB as disk mode for backup. I It is activated only when the USB HDD available for backup is connected. I When "USB HDD Format" is executed, all the data stored in the USB storage device is deleted. AV IN 2 I While performing "USB HDD Format", do not remove the USB storage device. It may cause error on the TV and the storage device. 1 Press the MENU button and then use D / E button to select the TIME MACHINE menu. 2 Press the G button and then use D / E button to select USB HDD Format. 3 Press the G button to start USB HDD Format. I The initialised USB storage device is not recognised by the PC. I When a USB storage device of less than 40 GB is connected, the "USB HDD Format" is not activated. NOTE G When attempting to access the USB Backup of the TIME MACHINE menu after the initialisation, an alert message is displayed and access is blocked because there are no backed up items. G When even a single backed up file exists through 'Copy to USB HDD' from the 'Recorded TV' of the TIME MACHINE menu, the access to USB Backup is allowed. 3 Press the TIME MACHINE button to display HOME menu.
