Address Book You can store phone numbers and their corresponding names in the memory of your SmartChip. In addition, you can store up to 250 numbers and names in the phone memory. The SmartChip and phone memories, although physically separate, are used as if they were a single entity, called the Address Book. Contacts Menu 8.1 1. You can also scroll through the Address Book from the beginning, in idle mode with flip open, by pressing the down navigation key directly. 2. If you want to edit, delete, copy an entry, or to add the voice to one, select [Options]. 3. Once you have found the required entry, press the E to dial the number. ] View: To view in detail the selected name. ] Delete: You can delete an entry. ] New Message: You can write a short message and a multimedia message. ] Edit: You can edit the name, mobile number, home number, office number, E-mail, group, picture by press the left soft key [Select]. 58 ] Copy to SmartChip: You can copy an entry from Phone to SmartChip. ] Copy to Phone: You can copy an entry from SmartChip to phone. ] Assign Speed Dial: You can call directly to set speed dials in this option. For further details, see page 59. ] Set Primary Number: You can select the main number out of your mobile, home or office numbers. Choose the one that is most often used. The main number will be displayed first, if you set this. ] View Caller Groups: For further details, see page 59. New Contact Menu 8.2 You can add an address book entry by using this function. Phone memory capacity is 250 entries. SmartChip memory capacity depends on the cellular service provider. You can also save 40 characters of name in the phone memory, and save characters in the SmartChip. The number of characters is dependent on the SmartChip. 1. You can add new address book entries to SmartChip memory or the address book memory. To select the memory, go to Set Save Location(Menu 8.7.1).
