On the page with installation options, click Next. (Initiator Service and Software Initiator are selected by default.) 6. If a message box appears telling you to configure the settings in the Control Panel, click OK. 7. If you agree to the terms of the license agreement, select I Agree and then click Next. 8. When the installation completes, click Finish. After your computer restarts, you can install Windows Backup Software. Technical note: You do not have to configure the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator. Windows Backup Software will configure it for you automatically. ■ 7.1.4. Installing Windows Backup Software You must install Windows Backup Software on each computer whose local disks you want to protect. A single license for the Ethernet Disk RAID is located on the back of the unit. Additional licenses can be purchased from http://www.intel.com/design/servers/storage/offers. To install Windows Backup Software 1. Log on as an administrator and insert the installation CD into a CD-ROM drive. 2. Select Applications from the top menu. 3. Select the "Windows Backup Software" link to install the software. 4. Start the setup utility for Windows Backup Software. 5. If the Microsoft* iSCSI Initiator 2.0 is already installed, go to the next step. If this component is not currently installed, the prompt in Fig. 7.1.4.B appears. Fig. 7.1.4.B
