12: Network Services SNMP Settings Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) settings may be viewed and configured in this section. SNMP Settings State Version Read Community Write Community System Contact System Name System Description System Location Lantronix MIB File MIB File Table 12-7 SNMP Settings Description Select to enable or disable the SNMP agent state. Select the SNMP version used by the SNMP agent. Specify the read community used by the agent (defaults to public community). Description
State
Select to enable or disable the SNMP agent state.
Version
Select the SNMP version used by the SNMP agent.
Read Community
Specify the read community used by the agent (defaults to public community).
Write Community
Specify the write community used by the agent (defaults to private community).
System Contact
Specify the system contact.
System Name
Update the system name, as necessary.
The default system name is .
System Description
Update the system description, as necessary.
The default system information
