The UDS2100 increments the port number used with each new connection. Remote IP Address This is the destination IP address for an outgoing connection. Remote Port You must set the remote TCP port number for the unit to make outgoing connections. This parameter defines the port number on the target host to which a connection is attempted. Remote Port (0) ? _ To connect an ASCII terminal to a host using the unit for login purposes, use the remote port number 23 (Internet standard port number for Telnet services). DisConnMode This setting determines the conditions under which the unit will cause a network connection to terminate. The default setting is 00. DisConnMode (00) ? _ Notes: In DisConnMode (Disconnect Mode), Modem Control In drop either drops the connection or is ignored.
