To replace the internal speaker: 1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer. 2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 16. 3. Remove the front bezel and drive bay assembly. See "Accessing the system board components and drives" on page 17. 4. You might have to remove the hard disk drive to gain easy access to the internal speaker. See "Replacing the hard disk drive" on page 23. 5. Locate the internal speaker connector on the system board. See "Locating parts on the system board" on page 12. 6. Disconnect the internal speaker cable from the system board.

To replace the internal speaker:

5.
Locate the internal speaker connector on the system board. See “Locating
parts on the system board” on page 12.
6.
Disconnect the internal speaker cable from the system board.
