Chapter 2. Using Your Computer „ Using Modem Port (Specific model only) The modem port supports standard telephone cable with a RJ-11 connector, and allows dial up access to the Internet. Important: ƒ Do not connect the modem port to a digital circuit cable, as the current in the digital circuit may damage the modem. ƒ To reduce the risk of fire, use only No. 26 AWG or larger (for example, No. 24 AWG) telecommunication line cord listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) or certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). 19

Using Modem Port (Specific model only)
The modem port supports standard telephone cable with a RJ-11 connector,
and allows dial up access to the Internet.
Important:
