Using the Microsoft Windows XP Recovery and Conversion Kit The Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition recovery and conversion kit enables you to recover a preinstalled version of the Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition or convert your computer from a preinstalled version of the Microsoft Windows Vista® operating system to the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system. This recovery and conversion kit consists of these user instructions and a set of DVDs. You use the Product Recovery Startup disc to start the recovery or conversion procedure. Note: You must have a DVD drive to use the recovery and conversion kit. If you do not have an internal DVD drive installed in your computer, you can use an external USB DVD drive.
