Verifying Your VGA2000 Installation 1. Once the VGA2000 has fully booted, verify the following LED behavior: SYSTEM LED Green when up; red when down. LINE LED Green when the VGA2000 is connected to the public telephone network and the line is available. Flashing green when the line is in use. Red when the line is not registered with the Services Router. PHONE LED Green when the port is available; flashing green when the port is in use. Red when an intercom or phone line is not registered with the Services Router. LAN LED Green/green flash when the VGA2000 is connected to the Services Router. RED when there is no LAN connection available. RESET LED Flashes red when the VGA2000 is resetting 2. Verify that you can place an emergency services (911) call from an IP phone on the network: a. Use a FXO line emulator to emulate the Central Office's functionality in order to verify that 911 calls are properly routed. If 911calls are not routed over the FXO line, contact your Hosted Services Provider to gather logs and then contact your local PSTN to ensure service is available. b. If you do not have an FXO emulator, do the following: - Call 911, remain on the line and speak to the operator. - Say the following to the operator; "This is a test call only, there is no emergency." - Verify with the operator that the correct physical address is reported by the system. 3. Open the Administration Editor for the SVR3000 and check the status for the VGA2000. Verifying Your VGA2000 Installation

Once the VGA2000 has fully booted, verify the following LED behavior:

Verify that you can place an emergency services (911) call from an IP phone on the
network:
a.
Use a FXO line emulator to emulate the Central Office’s functionality in order to
verify that 911 calls are properly routed. If 911calls are not routed over the FXO
line, contact your Hosted Services Provider to gather logs and then contact your local
PSTN to ensure service is available.
b.
If you do not have an FXO emulator, do the following:
