BIOS Setup Advanced BIOS Features BIOS Virus Warning The item is to set the Virus Warning feature for IDE Hard Disk boot sector protection. If the function is enabled and any attempt to write data into this area is made, BIOS will display a warning message on screen and beep. Settings: Disabled and Enabled. Hyper-Threading Technology The processor uses Hyper-Threading technology to increase transaction rates and reduces end-user response times. The technology treats the two cores inside the processor as two logical processors that can execute instructions simultaneously. In this way, the system performance is highly improved. If you disable the function, the processor will use only one core to execute the instructions. Settings: Enabled, Disabled. Quick Boot Setting the item to Enabled allows the system to boot within 5 seconds since it will skip some check items Settings: Disabled, Enabled. Full Screen LOGO Show This item enables you to show the company logo on the bootup screen. Set- tings are: Enabled Shows a still image (logo) on the full screen at boot.
