MS-6743 M-ATX Mainboard Run VGABIOS if S3 Resume When ACPI Suspend Mode is set to S3 or S1&S3, users can select the options in this field. Selecting [Yes] allows BIOS to call VGABIOS to initializet he VGA card when system wakes up (resumes) from S3 sleep state. The system resume time is shortened when you disable the function, but system will need an AGP driver to initialize the VGA card. Therefore, if the AGP driver of the card does not support the initialization feature, the display may work abnormally or not function after resuming form S3. Options: Auto, Yes, No. Power Management This item is used to select the degree (or type) of power saving and is related to these modes: Suspend Mode and HDD Power Down. There are three options for power management: Min Saving Minimum Power Management. Suspend Mode=1 Hour Max Saving Maximum Power Management. Suspend Mode=1 Min User Define Allows end users to configure each mode separately. Video Off Method This determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked. V/H SYNC+Blank This selection will cause the system to turn off the vertical and horizontal synchronization ports and write blanks to the video buffer. Blank Screen This option only writes blaniks tot he video buffer. DPMS Initial display power management signaling. Video Off In Suspend This option enables the monitor to be turned off during the suspend mode. Settings: Yes, No. Suspend Type This item allows you to select he suspend type for system power management. Settings: Stop Grant, PwrOn Suspend.
