BIOS Setup Suspend Time Out (Minute) After the selected period of system inactivity, all devices except the CPU shut off. Settings: [Disabled], [1], [2], [4], [8], [10], [20], [30], [40], [50], [60]. Power Button Function This feature sets the function of the power button. Settings are: [On/Off] The power button functions as normal power off button. [Suspend] When you press the power button, the computer enters the suspend/sleep mode, but if the button is pressed for more than four seconds, the computer is turned off. Restore on AC/Power Loss This setting specifies whether your system will reboot after a power failure or interrupt occurs. Available settings are: [Power Off] Leaves the computer in the power off state. [Power On] Leaves the computer in the power on state. [Last State] Restores the system to the previous status before power failure or interrupt occurred. Set Monitor Events Press and the following sub-menu appears. FDC/LPT/COM Ports, Primary/Secondary Master/Slave IDE These items specify if the BIOS will monitor the activity of the specified hardware peripherals or components. If set to Monitor, any activity detected on the specified hardware peripherals or components will wake up the system or prevent the system from entering the power saving modes.
