▍ Hardware Setup Switch This mainboard provides the following switch for you to set the computer's function. This section will explain how to change your mainboard's function through the use of switch. Over-Voltage Switch: V Switch You can increase the voltage range of CPU / CPU_VTT/ Memory/ PCH for adjustment in BIOS by changing this switch. Follow the instructions below to increase the voltage range of CPU / CPU_VTT/ Memory/ PCH. Switch 1 : is used to over-voltage the CPU voltage, switching it to "ON" will increase the CPU voltage adjustment range in BIOS. Switch 2 : is used to over-voltage the CPU_VTT voltage, switching it to "ON" will increase the CPU_VTT voltage adjustment range in BIOS. Switch 3 : is used to over-voltage the DRAM voltage, switching it to "ON" will increase the DRAM voltage adjustment range in BIOS. Switch 4 : is used to over-voltage the PCH voltage, switching it to "ON" will increase the PCH voltage adjustment range in BIOS. Important • After switching the V switch, you have to set the CPU/ CPU_VTT/ DDR/ PCH voltage in BIOS to achieve the CPU/ CPU_VTT/ DDR/ PCH over-voltage. • After you set the CPU/ CPU_VTT/ DDR/ PCH voltage in BIOS, you can check the CPU/ CPU_VTT/ DDR/ PCH voltage by measuring the Voltage Check Point with multimeter. Please refer the following instructions to measure these voltages. 2-22

witch
Th±s ma±nboard prov±des the follow±ng sw±tch for you to set the computer’s funct±on.
Th±s sect±on w±ll expla±n how to change your ma±nboard’s funct±on through the use of
sw±tch.
Over-Voltage Sw±tch: V Sw±tch
You can ±ncrease the voltage range of CPU / CPU_VTT/ Memory/ PCH for adjustment
±n BIOS by chang±ng th±s sw±tch.
Follow the ±nstruct±ons below to ±ncrease the voltage range of CPU / CPU_VTT/ Mem-
ory/ PCH.
Sw±tch 1 : ±s used to over-voltage the CPU voltage, sw±tch±ng ±t to
“ON” w±ll ±ncrease the CPU voltage adjustment range ±n BIOS.
Sw±tch 2 : ±s used to over-voltage the CPU_VTT voltage, sw±tch-
±ng ±t to “ON” w±ll ±ncrease the CPU_VTT voltage adjustment
range ±n BIOS.
Sw±tch 3 : ±s used to over-voltage the DRAM voltage, sw±tch±ng
±t to “ON” w±ll ±ncrease the DRAM voltage adjustment range ±n
BIOS.
Sw±tch 4 : ±s used to over-voltage the PCH voltage, sw±tch±ng ±t to
“ON” w±ll ±ncrease the PCH voltage adjustment range ±n BIOS.
Important
After sw±tch±ng the V sw±tch, you have to set the CPU/ CPU_VTT/ DDR/ PCH voltage
±n BIOS to ach±eve the CPU/ CPU_VTT/ DDR/ PCH over-voltage.
After you set the CPU/ CPU_VTT/ DDR/ PCH voltage ±n BIOS, you can check the
CPU/ CPU_VTT/ DDR/ PCH voltage by measur±ng the Voltage Check Po±nt w±th mul-
t±meter. Please refer the follow±ng ±nstruct±ons to measure these voltages.
