If the power is not off and you continue watching TV, TIMER REC STANDBY starts flashing on the screen two minutes before the programmed start time. Press v or w to enter the correct information. • While a timer recording is in progress, the red REC/OTR light will flash. • If a timer recording is set for hours or days later, you can use the TV/VCR/DVD until then. Just be sure to turn off the TV/VCR/DVD about five minutes before the recording. Set the Cable Box/Satellite Receiver if appropriate. • If the record tab is missing, the videotape will eject when you press POWER to turn off the TV/VCR/DVD. Insert a recordable tape for the timer recording.
