INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Tools and Parts Gather the required tools and parts before starting installation. Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools listed here. s 8" or 10" pipe wrench s 8" or 10" adjustable wrench (for gas connections) s Flat-blade screwdriver s Adjustable wrench that opens to 1" (2.5 cm) or hex-head socket wrench (for adjusting dryer feet) s ¹⁄₄" nut driver or socket wrench (recommended) s Level s Knife s Vent clamps s Pipe-joint compound resistant to LP gas s Caulking gun and compound (for installing new exhaust vent) s Pliers s Tape measure Options Pedestal Are you placing the dryer on a pedestal? You have the option of purchasing a pedestal separately for this dryer. You may select a 15.5" (39.4 cm) pedestal. This pedestal will add to the total height of the dryer for a total height of approximately 53.5" (135.9 cm). For a garage installation, you will need to place the pedestal at least 3.5" (8.9 cm) above the floor. Parts supplied Remove parts packages from dryer drum.
