Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be dangerous. Machine problems The light does not illuminate when the appliance is turned on. Possible fault Solution The lighting is turned off. Turn on the lighting, see "Settings - Lighting". If not, the light bulb has burnt out. Contact Miele's Technical Service Department. The display remains dark. Possible fault Solution - The main switch is turned to "0". - The plug is not inserted into the socket correctly. - The fuse has blown or is defective. - Turn the main switch to "I". - Plug the machine in. - If the fuse has blown contact Miele's Technical Service Department. The unit suddenly turns off. Possible fault Solution - Is the machine - The machine goes into standby mode when programmed to switch off not used for a programmed time.
