10. Program end End Using the washer ^ Open the drum door and remove the laundry. Check the drum for any missed pieces of laundry. Items inadvertently left in the washer may be damaged (e.g. shrink or discolor) during the next wash cycle. ^ Check the folds of the door seal for any small articles. ^ Close the drum door. ^ Activate the Child Lock so children or animals do not find their way into the drum. Preparing your appliance for an extended vacaion If you elect to turn off the water to your home for an extended period of time, please note that this may not be enough to reduce the risk of a leak. To be completely safe, you must turn off the water supply to each individual appliance. This means under the sink for a dishwasher, at the laundry bib for your washer, etc. 27
