Note that two discard rates are supported. Min-discard is the rate that frames are discarded when they reach the minimum configured threshold. Max-discard is the rate that frames are discarded when they reach the maximum configured threshold. Dynamic packet classification In dynamic mode, packets are classified by the 802.1P Ethernet precedence bit or IP TOS (precedence bits) in the Diffserv byte. This definition is taken from the latest RFC 2475. Note that the IP TOS bits are defined as the three most significant bits of the DiffServ byte.
